Sand Bicycle

You just bought a Schwinn Varsity 1973 that I was ready to sand and repaint.

Is this the production of the year lead paint, just need to know the toxicity level of what I do so that I can find the best location for this.

Lead absorbed through the skin. I suggest you look in the telephone directory for a sandblasting service in your area, or use a chemical stripper like Zip Strip to work. You really do not want to spray lead paint.
