Perhaps rechargeable AA batteries used in bicycle lights? The brand is "Planet".
Yes, that's all I use.
Edit:
The rechargeable batteries can get a memory so reload too early before they run down. I have a light that uses 4 AA batteries and when they begin to Sun I turn on the light and smash them even more before recharging. Topping the batteries after each use will shorten their life.
Rechargeable work. A NiMH rechargeable batteries will actually last longer than alkaline batteries. However, most rechargeable batteries have a voltage which is slightly lower than the non-rechargeable batteries. Depending on how your light is designed, it could be a bit dimmer when using rechargeable. Apart from this, use rechargeable batteries anyway.
HTH
sure
if it uses regular AA
Charging is more fiddly though, a light pack
because you must remove the light, get the lid, take them out, put them in a magazine, take them out, put them in the light, tThe been back cover, mount the light
WLE.
Yes, but the 600 mAh normal well. These do not commonly found in the solar lanterns.
What you want is at least a 1200 mAh battery, but a 2100 mAh better. These more generally labeled "digital" as they are good for digital cameras with LCDs.
Yes, but they work well in LED lights, use NiMH batteries and charger NiMH.
