How can I make my own bike rear rack / basket? I can not break my bike, I do not have access to a welder. I was planning a PVC pipe in a local hardware store and asking a bend of 45 degrees, then fixing a basket to it. The only problem is, I do not know how I could attach to my bike. Perhaps epoxy? Or JB weld? (Would it stick to the bike if I left the paint (I do not want to remove it))
Other ideas?

Go buy a bike rack at Wal-Mart, they are not that expensive.
If your bike has mounting points for a rack, you can buy one, they are not very expensive. You can attach a basket to the rack. Since you do not give any information on what kind of bike you have, specific guidelines are not possible.
