Nuvi Bike Mount

Nuvi Bike MountGPS cycling to the question?

I'm looking to buy a handheld GPS receiver and should be a model that can be mounted on a bicycle. The bike is a road bike, but I want to make sure that the owner of the GPS is blocked and will not be damaged as GPS. I would prefer a Garmin GPS (especially the Nuvi) because the screen is bigger. Do you have any suggestions where I can find a horse or what would be best to use? Thank you!

You do not need the Garmin Nuvi as it is for a car and a bike ... not what you need is: http://www.performancebike.com/shop/prof ... The display is easy to read and it will rise to your stem perfectly and do everything you need and the Nuvi would ... you do not need a bigger screen. you will not be able to secure a nažvi on your bike ... not work! The 605 will and it is made for cyclists to all needs! Besides, you would not believe how easy the 605 is to read in bright sunlight, I use the 705 and you will not be able to see a Nuvi in the same light, it would make you no good. Believe me!

Most handheld GPS can be mounted on a bike without too much trouble.

The Edge 205, 305, 605 and 705 are designed for the use of bikes and come with a stand.

What do you need GPS for? If you want bike computer functions, all series Garmin Edge works. If you want maps, you'll need the latest GPS Edge (605, 705) - but they cost much more. The Edge 305 and 705 will also give you things like cadence and heart rate, if you want.

If you only need turn by turn directions as to give your car GPS, GPS and a hand can do for you unless specific versions of cycling. You can buy a bicycle mount for a GPS data in the same place you have the GPS.

The Nuvi series is probably a bit bigger than you want, bike carriers may be difficult to find and the batteries last only a few hours. Get a hand in its place if you do not go for the Edge series.

The cheapest place to buy Garmin is probably Amazon. You may find someone you've never heard of a little less expensive, but your local bike shop is probably a * lot * more.

I have an Edge 305 and it is a bike computer Nice, but even my year, several former eMap handheld Garmin has more features non-bike-specific.

Garmin is bike racks nažvi. Here is one to which REI is compatible with the Nuvi models many (not all). If your friend is just a tool to help them move into the new area and not training bike characteristics, it is probably a good choice. It also seems to be much cheaper than a GPS bike specific.

I used the bike mount for a Garmin 60CS and it worked well.
