Is this a legal requirement to have reflectors on a mountain bike in Australia? :) Thanks
Is there a penalty if you did not?
In NSW
To be a legal road vehicle at night, a bicycle must have:
Lights fitted and in use when driving at night - a steady or flashing white light that is clearly visible for at least 200 meters and a flashing or solid red, which is clearly visible for at least 200 meters behind motorcycle
red rear reflector that is clearly visible on 50 meters when the light is projected onto it by the vehicle headlights on low beam

Not that I know, but it's a good idea to have them for security reasons.
