What is a good motorcycle GPS runs on AA or AAA batteries and is waterproof? Been riding since February and I LOVE cruising highways and travel to all the attractions located near Central Florida. But I use the GPS in the car of a Garmin C330 is not waterproof, and has a short battery life.
So I'm looking for a GPS that can mount to my bike is tight, and I can exchange the batteries from Walmart or something if she dies.
Any suggestions would be apreciated.
For a Zumo, but you can not have 500 dollars to spend on a GPS. Garmin makes a number of models that are capable Pocket Road in the street, but they may not be as easy to use. It depends on the balance of usability / cost you at ease. Visit the Garmin Web site or a sporting goods store and ask someone who works there to show you what each unit can do.
Garmin zumo
Waterproof, runs on battery and comes with bike handlebar mount.
I use the Garmin Legend. I suggest that C. Caption It will interface with most mapping programs so that you can load your routes from your PC. You can also follow the route you want to map. You will not be able to load a route on the fly, but I never do anyway.
