I bought a pair of cheap leather wallets and they turn white in the rain, why? I bought a pair of cheap leather bags for my bike. When I outa the area they had this white powdery stuff on them. I used some leather conditioner and clean and made'em smooth and black. After driving in the rain but if this white thing around and return the bags. Whats up?
