Allen Deluxe 4-Bike Hitch Mount Rack (2-Inch Receiver)

Nice bike rack!

This is the first bike rack I've owned. I did some research and could not really find much difference between this support Allen just over $ 100 and others in the range of 200-300 dollars. When I opened the box I noticed the sustainable construction and could not wait to get on the SUV. It held all expectations. Specifications are folding Nice. You can get a locking pin, but the bolt that will screw by tightening it would be difficult to steal the thing. Someone would need keys or a socket set to pull the heist. The straps down tight. I had no problem with transportation of bicycles. To reduce domination I have to use bungee cords to keep the bike stable. Can not beat the price, the value for money.

Good bike rack, but not top line PF

My wife and I just got the bike and have 4 bikes between us and the children, so I bought the 4 bike carrier.
Arrived quickly and as described. Put them together with 3 bolts in about 3 minutes. Easy to follow instructions. The bolt that goes to the team was fine. I recommend buying a bolt lock for hitch as you need to remove the bolt tooldir grid comes with.

As for the gate, sitting on a bike rack and a strap with 2 straps with fasteners for your bike. According to the bike rack may not be best suited. There was nothing to hold down bikes. They just hang there. This works fine except ride is bumpy. I hate that there is nothing that bike except straps and weight BUT bike $ 104 paid by amazon I can not complain.

It seems solid and the finish is nice. Also hinges in two places (top and bottom) so that you can access hatch if necessary and fold when not in use.

I also recommend a hitch bolt lock, for a simple link with a strap down bicycles.

Otherwise, easy to assemble and connect. Assemply to plug is approximately 5 minutes with a basic key.

Good (but not perfect) Rack

At first, I must admit that I think the two bars holding the bike is not strong enough to bear the full weight of my mountain bikes. But after several trips to local trails, I am pleased to report that it was a very solid platform.

On the side (if one can call it that), you must remove a retaining pin tilting the bike rack in order to open your SUV Hatch. It may be a little boring if you do this a half-dozen times a day. I noticed that with Thule Car Racks (for example), they have a tab called "quick release" that tips the scale down with a flick of the wrist. This method seems to be much higher.

Apart from that, I was very satisfied with this product and probably buy it again given the price.
