What is the difference in a 36/45 and 45/45 bike helmet? I think I have a stock 36/45 and I'm starting a new body for my Eastern Shovelhead, would fit 45/45? Does anyone have suggestions on what helmet should I use this image?
The difference is quite grumpy in the raceways. There are three styles used in the cartridge bearing headsets (36/45, 36/36 and 45/45). They will not exchange because they are made with dimensions different race, so you must use the same type as what you have on your bike today. It's really a good thing, because it guarantees that you use the best design for the type of bike you have ... these differences in perspectives have to do with the forces of lift and are chosen for each particular type of bike / riding style.
I think most managers use BMX style Campy (45/45), so if that's what you just buy one that says in the description if it does not tell you the corners. If you want more, you can read the tech sections and FSA websites Dia-Compe/Aheadset .... it is deep enough.
I hope this helps you!
