Bicycle Trailer

Bicycle Trailerbike trailer?

I'm looking into getting a bike. But I had a longstanding problem with the bikes in that they do not haul much gear, like a lot of cargo space.

I recently saw one of these stroller / trailer / conveyance, a man pulling behind a bike and I think that's what I need. I looked online ... these things are like 300-600 dollars! Is not this one that looks more like 60 or less? All they are is a fabric and plastic / steel / aluminum right? Nothing more than $ 80 seems quite unreasonable to me. Where can I gt to a more reasonable price?

Do I have I some kind of bike to use one of these?

In addition, all bikes will accept these baskets on the handlebars? I want one of these too .... I like the cargo space ... a lot of cargo space.

Thank you.

You can watch for sales at Target and find a bike trailer for children under 60 $. They are not the greatest but they work!

Better than is in fact a BOB Yak or Ibex - see this link: http://www.bobgear.com/trailers/index.ph ...

They are more stable and better suited for freight, lower center of gravity makes them easier to pull, and the single wheel tracks better with your bike.

But they are also about $ 300, so I personally prefer the trailer TW because it is very similar in design, not only is it cheaper, it is foldable! In fact, it folds up to fit in the cargo bag included!

You see, while many Amtrak trains allow you to put your bike right onto the train with you, they will not consider the BOB trailers because they do not fold and are too long. With the trailer TW, you can take it with you on the inside of the bag - to travel with you and your bike ride to your final destination and return your bike at home, eliminating the need for "way back" or have someone pick you up.

Here is a link to the trailer TW, which is apparently now $ 195, but if you keep control over e-bay, you should be able to pick it up for $ 160 or less. They are really much better than using one provided for carrying babies. Here's a link: http://www.actionbent.com/twtrailer.html

I have a small handlebar bag that velcro right on and off and welcome any handlebar. Regarding baskets go, although, it depends on what is used to attach to your bike.

Ebay has some

Here's one buy.com

Hey, I know nothing about trailers, but I know that you should get a good bike lock. There are great at A & J and their site is http://www.bike-locks.com .

Wal-Mart to sell for $ 50 - $ 60, they will work, but (note bike trailers lowest can only contain 100 pounds of weight before failure)

bikenashbar.com sells a trailer blow off for about $ 100 sometimes. They can adapt to all bikes.

Well, the price of a diamond seems totally unreasonable to me and everything he does is sit around!

You get what you pay for. If you buy a trailer $ 60 expected to be replaced frequently. If you buy a trailer for $ 600 it will probably last forever.

Not all bikes can be equipped with a front basket. It would be useful if you want to provide the make and model of your bike.

"There is hardly anything in this world that one man can not make a bit cheaper.
