Bicycle Team Jerseys

Bicycle Team JerseysDo I have a chance at a career as a cyclist?

I know this question has been asked a lot, but you might be helping the next Armstrong here if you answer ... haha

I am 17 years old, about 140 kg and the average of about 21 km / h in 10 miles, about 19 km / h in 20 miles and 17 mph to 60 miles down from there, with hills and a moderate breeze moderate head.

I managed to do about 25-28 mph on a flat road, no wind around 8 or 9 miles, and I've never ridden in one day is 143 miles with an average of 16.4

I think I can easily manage to get into the low thirties by the end of summer and keep an average of about 30 mph for 6 or 7 miles with good conditions.

The bike is a lifestyle for me. I gave up on obtaining a driver's license and a car, I bike at least 10 miles each day at school, I worked as a bicycle messenger in the city during the summer (now) and only about 70 miles daily.

I drive a lot in Central Park (NYC) and sometimes I see training teams from New Jersey ... i can easily take with them and sometimes feel as if I had to go. I do not know if the rides training team members do not rise as fast as in racing, but I rarely adopted by other cyclists on the road.

I register with my local cycling club and hopefully my first race in August, I'm basically asking for your opinion and advice and ideas where I can find more races (not a part of a cycling team)

I think your doing very well so far, progress, you must join a team and there you will know with certainty whether you have a chance to be a pro rider. If you're really dedicated to riding, I'm sure you can even unclassified Armstrong. Good luck.

no

Looks like you're in good shape but I would expect the first race for knowledge. If you're fast a team can ask you to join or invite you to a workout.

Stay focused and keep a positive attitude and you can become the next Armstrong.

Set your mind to it and you will have many opportunities

if I knew about cycling teams I help you, sorry.

but why do not you ask around town, like the guys that you try not to go through

It depends how much you support financially as the American cyclists make almost no money until they find their way to the big teams and get sponsored by big business
So you did not mention how you got on, which is a very important factor.

I would go to college the first time since u have been saving for so long, try to do what u like in college and put the bike for pleasure or bike marathons. U are in good shape and its relly good, but nothing to put that snack in college works well, good luck to all. Shoot me an e-mail.
