How monte Changed My Life About 15 years ago when I was a struggling young actor in Hollywood, I auditioned for an appearance co-star of the NBC sit-com, "Wings". I had to be a hustler in New York Street and Crystal Bernard cheat a hundred dollars. To win the role, I marked the cards, knowing that the cards do not appear in a closeup. I got the spiel at the bottom right, "Keep the Red Queen. Just follow the lady in red. Look for honey and double your money. "I got the part and it was a very fun time on set. Although I do not have any scenes with him, I even sat down to lunch with Tony Shalhoub ( Monk), who, like Crystal Bernard and Steve Webber is fantastically fresh, friendly people.
So it was not just another role. Suddenly, everywhere I went, people asked me to show them the Three Card Monte, and I do not really know! I had to change or I'd discovered a fraud! Well, I went to the Hollywood Magic Shop and I bought a book on magic and severaldecks Bicycle cards so I can learn about the art of magic card. I had already done a lot of children's magic in my daily work "as a mini-party in Los Angeles artist. (This concert has got me plum cameo in Liar Liar).
Thus, the number one element in the development of close magic card is convenient! Numbers is to decipher the instructions thing. It's a good thing, I was already a detective murder mystery in my show! It must really be a detective to deduce the instructions for the magic number tricks. Thus, to the chagrin of my family, I practice my tricks all day, from land to land, non-magical activities.
Several years later, I joined the magic in almost every performance of my mystery dinner theater show. I now get all my supplies at Apple Magic Ventura Blvd in North Hollywood by the magazine MUM, I get each month as a benefit to being a member of the Society of American Magicians. I joined last year, after hearing the first president of the organization was Harry Houdini.
Magic walk is an enjoyable part of mingling and cocktail parties. If you want to see relatives great magic in this environment, down to the El Cid Dinner Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday night. My brilliant and charming wife, Nora and I produce our hit-out selll murder mystery , comedy and magic show there. Ask me to show you the lady red. I will. Please do not blow my cover, since I may be the detective mystery too!
