What are good roads for bike commuting in Silicon Valley? I intend to live in Palo Alto or Mountain View and I would like to bike to work in Santa Clara. What are good roads? Are there bike paths that go particularly well north-south in Silicon Valley? (Namely is a paved bike path or a road bike commuters take)
There are no bike paths that connect these two cities. Bicycles are permitted on both El Camino Real, Central Expressway, which may prove to be the fastest way to get there (but not necessarily the best).
