Bicycle Indicators

Bicycle IndicatorsDo I need extra padding for my helmet?

I bought a Giro helmet and it came with extra padding (4 foam pads extra small) that I might add, if necessary, but should I? I try to get into the riding for fun now and I am a bit lost when it comes to equipment. If I need, where is the most important place to put extra padding on the inside. The helmet I have is the indicator if this info is useful. Thank you y'all.

A good basic test of whether a helmet is properly if the helmet is on your head, not on top of your head like a little hat. This helmet is too small and you either need a bigger helmet or possibly replace the thicker pads with thinner blocks. The helmet is too big if your head is like a bell ringer inside a bell ... lol. In this case, you need a smaller helmet and thicker foam pad.

If you decide you need different blocks, you probably either replace the current buffer that are sometimes held in place with Velcro, or add the foam pads in convenient locations inside the helmet, usually at the front by the front and sides.

The extra padding is provided to assist the helmet fit better, if necessary. I do not know where it goes, but if the helmet is well do not worry.

If you're really interested, go to a local bike shop and ask for their help.
