Bicycle Exchange

Bicycle ExchangeHow to solve mathematical word problem bike?

Please show me your work and answer the following question:
Senai customized his bike through the exchange of the front wheel for a wheel that has half the diameter of the rear wheel. Now when Senai rides the bike, how many revolutions of the front wheel do for each revolution of the rear wheel?

It would be twice as many revolutions
:-)
Tell the rear wheel is 50cm and the front wheel is 25cm in diameter

Back wheel circumference = 2 * pi * 50 = 314.15927
circumference of the front wheel = 2 * pi * 25 = 157.07963 (rounded a bit)

This is half the circumference, it must go around twice for each spin greater
:-)

2

The circumference is pi * D, square or not lined or anything ... So, if D is half of what it was, then pi * D is half of what it was.

The wheel circumference is pi x radius x 2.
If the radius is halved, the circumference is also reduced by half.
The front wheel turns and twice for each revolution of the rear wheel.
